DIY KITS

Here you find current ASC DIY Kits, building docs, manuals and video tutorials. The online shop will open in the upcoming months via this website.

For now kits can be purchased during workshops and with events such as DIY KIT DAY in Berlin (11-05-2025) or other similar music and diy electronics events.

Bluetooth and standalone touch synthesiser and midi controller
The MIDI MADNESS MAKER, is a standalone DIY syntheseizer and MIDI controller interface you can make yourself with a focus on capacitive touch data.

With Midi Madness Maker you can create your own tactile controller translating touch to MIDI control and CC messages over TRS-Midi jack- 5 pin DIN or Wireless over Bluetooth

€65,- Full Kit + components, pcb, sensors and custom 3D printed enclosure! Available on workshops, events and open days.

Bye Bye Breadboard Arduino Buddy
ZENITH is a standalone DIY synthesiser that eliminates the drag and hassle of breadboarding for beginners, who are eager and hyped to solder, design and code their first synthesiser.

The kit can be programmed as a sound source, modulation source, standalone controller and more and is a useful starting tool for makers, artists, creative coders and interface designers.

€60,- full kit + microcontroller (pre-programmed with examples, or empty) Available on workshops, events and open days.

The Atari Punnik Console is inspired by a knitting tool called a “Punnik Poppetje” in Dutch, which is a wooden tool used for making certain knits. The circuit is an adaptation of the Atari Punk Console, one of the easiest and most fun beginner projects to build when diving into the world of DIY-synths.

This kit is the perfect sonic pocket annoyance for kids and adults looking into getting more soldering experience and for seasoned noisemakers who want to involve touch sensing and musical mayhem into their live sets.

€35,- full kit, Available on workshops, events and open days.

4x Variable Resistance to Control Voltage

ETFD is a modular synth eurorack module that translates and scales variable resistance inputs to control voltage outputs.

The module is designed so that 4x different LDR sensors, E-textiles and other resistance materials can be connected, offset and attenuated to CV modulate all kinds of modular synth parameters based on movement and interaction.

The module is fully analog using very simple circuit designs based on opamps and scaling schematics, and because of the trough-hole soldering it’s easy to build and to maintain or adjust if wanted.

€100,- full kit w/components, pcb’s, frontpanel + set of sensors. Available soon via separate soldering workshop on Interactive Sensors and Eurorack!

Demo video droppin’ soon ! and 1 day hackathon for this module expected Februari-March.
